Champion Boxing Gym Zapata opened in January 2023 in La Chorrera, founded by David Lovell Jr. and Marichel Zapata in honor of her father, three-time world boxing champion Hilario Zapata.

Championship Legacy: Hilario Zapata is one of only two Panamanians inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame, alongside Roberto Duran.

Boxing Training: The gym offers boxing instruction for those training for fitness or looking to pursue the sport competitively.
